The Chosen Weekend
On February 28, 2026, we welcomed World Vision and featured guest speaker Pastor David Wagner
This was more than sponsorship.
This was about being chosen.
The Chosen is a unique child sponsorship experience where children in a developing community choose their sponsor — not the other way around.
Through prayer, generosity, and partnership, each year we have the opportunity to be part of a story that restores dignity and brings lasting hope.

On Sabbath, February 28th, 2026 we heard from special guest speaker, David Wagner, and learned about the community our church supports through World Vision.
Each year, we share the opportunity to:
- Commit to sponsor a child
- Take a photo for the selection celebration overseas
- Be part of this unique “chosen” experience
⏳Important: There is a brief cut-off after Launch Weekend to allow time for children to make their selections. Sponsorship is still available afterward, but those sponsors will be traditionally matched rather than chosen. Click the link below to sponsor a child traditionally.

This is the celebration! 🎉
On Sabbath, March 7, 2026, we shared photos and stories from the selection event and revealed which child chose each sponsor.
Sponsors from each year had a special opportunity to write a letter to their sponsored child.
These are often powerful, joy-filled moments as connections are made across the globe.
Why It Matters
Sponsorship through World Vision helps provide access to essentials like clean water, education, nutrition, and spiritual care.
But The Chosen goes one step further.
It gives a child the dignity of choice.
